What the AquaBlend does
The AquaBlend is a water driven proportional dosing pump. It is installed inline and powered entirely by the flow of water passing through it, with no electricity and no external power supply required. As water flows, the unit draws concentrate from your container and injects it into the line at a set percentage of that flow.
The important part is the word proportional. Because the dose is tied to water volume rather than time or pressure, the concentration stays constant even when flow rate and line pressure vary. If demand drops off, the unit doses less. If demand climbs, it doses more. The mix your animals, your vehicles or your lines receive stays the same.

Inline water medication
AquaBlend units are widely used as medicators on poultry and livestock operations, delivering approved products into the drinking water line. Dose rate accuracy matters here more than anywhere: an inaccurate medicator means animals receive a concentration other than the one intended. Always administer products under the direction of your veterinarian and in accordance with the product label and withholding periods.
With biosecurity under review across the poultry sector, a lot of operators are checking whether their existing medicators are still dosing accurately. If yours has not been performance tested recently, it is worth doing before you need it.
Biosecurity and vehicle sanitising
Paired with the appropriate applicator, the AquaBlend delivers consistent dilution of approved sanitising chemicals for truck and vehicle wash down at farm entry points, and for shed and equipment cleaning. Consistent dilution is the whole point: a chemical applied below its label rate is a chemical that is not doing the job it was chosen to do, and a chemical applied above it is wasted money and unnecessary residue.

Does this equipment prevent disease on my farm?
No. Dosing and dispensing equipment delivers approved chemicals at an accurate, consistent dilution rate. It does not of itself prevent, control or eliminate any disease. Efficacy against any pathogen is determined by the chemical you use and its label directions. Always follow the product label and the current biosecurity guidance issued by the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry and your state or territory authority.
