About Dosing Systems Australasia

Dosing Systems Australasia (DSA) was established to take over from retiring industry stalwart Doug Rowe, who had been the leading expert in the water driven pump industry in Australia for more than 20 years. Almost two years on, that foundation still shapes how we work. We supply and service water driven dosing pumps, proportional injectors, medicators and dispensing equipment to the facility cleaning, laundry, kitchen, animal health, car wash, horticulture, agriculture, fertigation, laundromat and industrial markets across Australia and New Zealand.

We are a small team by design. When you call DSA you speak to someone who has worked with the product, understands the application, and can tell you whether the unit you are looking at is the right one for your water pressure, your flow rate and your dose rate. If it is not, we will say so.

Our wet lab: servicing and repairs tested under live water

In 2026 we commissioned a dedicated wet lab at our facility, purpose built for preventative maintenance servicing and product repairs. A dosing pump is a hydraulic device. Bench testing tells you whether the parts move, but it does not tell you whether the unit is holding an accurate dose under real water conditions. Our wet lab does.

Every unit that comes through for service or repair is run under live water and performance checked before it goes back to you. That changes what we are able to offer:

Verified performance Units are run and dose checked under live water conditions before dispatch, not just visually inspected.	Faster turnaround Repairs are diagnosed and completed in house, so you spend less time waiting on equipment you need in service.

Four people, more than 30 years of combined chemical dispensing experience, and a phone that gets answered by someone who knows the product.

Alex Gray, General Manager

Alex has 15 years in the dispensing industry and came to it from a military engineering background. He is customer solution focused and technically very hands on, which in practice means he is as likely to be under a shed working out why a dose rate is drifting as he is to be in the office.

Jacob Spiteri, Operations Manager

Jacob has 10 years in the dispensing industry and is our expert in product application. He is incredibly detail focused, and his job is making sure that what leaves our door actually matches what the customer needs, in full, the first time.

Hayden is a qualified motor mechanic with 2 years in the dispensing industry. He brings a hands on technical focus to every enquiry and is genuinely passionate about delivering value to customers rather than simply moving product.

Jonothan Filgate, Warehouse Supervisor and Head of Product Repairs

Jonothan has 3 years in the dispensing industry and is our process and product expert. He runs the wet lab and the repairs bench, with a heavy focus on the finer details of the product and on extending equipment lifecycles.

Usually, yes. Water driven dosing pumps are built to be rebuilt, and most performance problems come down to worn seals, pistons or injectors rather than terminal failure. A service is generally a fraction of the cost of a replacement unit. We will tell you if a unit is genuinely beyond economical repair.
